MGI%20Genome%20FeaturesMGI Genome Feature tracks are comprised of only exon features. A given gene feature is derived by aggrigating the exons associated with the known models of that particular gene. In the case where a single gene is associated with multiple gene models, the MGI Genome Feature track aggrigates the exons across all models, providing a complete, although not necessarily biologically relevant, representation of the gene's structure based on all known models. In the case where multiple gene models are associated with multiple genes, all of the corresponding models contribute to the exons for all of the genes. |
